| Frequently asked questions |
|
Q. Which areas do you cover?
A. We cover the Lancashire and Greater Manchester areas and further if necessary.
Q. What Products do you use?
A. We use a wide range of both professional TV and Film cosmetics and good quality high street names such as; Mac, Nars, Bobbi Brown and Dior. If you have any special requirements, please let us know.
Q. How long will the trial take?
A. This depends entirely on yourself, as long or as little as you need. The main aim is to be sure that you are entirely happy with the look that is created.
Q. How much do I pay on the day of the trial?
A. The cost of the trial is £50. Both hair and make up are included in this price.
Q. How long will it take on the day?
A. The time it takes to complete your hair and make-up on your wedding day really depends on the style you're having. In general, we usually like to allow at least two hours, this allows us time for distractions such as, guests, flowers and photographer arriving etc.
Q. Will I need to "touch up" my make-up on the day?
A. Your make-up will be applied professionally, so it should last you well throughout the day. We recommend reapplying your lipstick from time to time. We will provide you with a small pot of your chosen lipstick and a brush. We would also recommend carrying a compact translucent face powder or some face blotting paper, to reduce any shine on the forehead and nose during the day.
Q. How can I secure your services for my wedding day?
A. Please contact Laila Maria for a booking form or just telephone and we will secure our hair and make-up services for you for the special day. If you have any further questions regarding your wedding hair and make-up, please get in touch, we will be more than happy to help.
Q. I have a picture of the make up I want from a magazine, can Laila Maria copy that ?
A. We will discuss your ideas with you, and although pictures are a great way to convey your message no two faces are the same and colours vary from person to person. We will take your ideas into consideration and advise you based on your face colour and skin tone.
Q. I normally wear very little make up, will I need to wear loads to look good?
A. Far from it, in our opinion less is more. Good make up is all about enhancement and definition and a good balance for photographs whether they be black and white or colour.
Q. Do my bridesmaids need to have a make up rehearsal?
A. Entirely up to the individual, Laila Maria is more than happy whatever suits the client.
If you have a specific question ,why not telephone or alternatively go to the contact page on this website and e mail. We look forward to hearing from you.
